The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services selected the Franciscan Alliance Accountable Care Organization for the program in which the national health care program for seniors will reward groups of health care providers on how well they are able to improve the health of their Medicare patients and lower their health care costs.
The partnership includes Franciscan St. Francis Health, which operates hospitals in Indianapolis, Beech Grove and Mooresville, and affiliated hospitals and physician groups serving more than 22,000 Medicare patients in central Indiana.
