Calumet Specialty Products Partners has acquired an aviation lubricants business for an undisclosed sum.
Indianapolis-based Calumet’s Missouri subsidiary bought the business, including 22 acres of land and a factory in Louisiana, Mo., from Hercules Inc.
“Calumet is focused on the refining of crude oil into specialty petroleum products, and the Hercules acquisition will help to strengthen our business for both customers and shareholders,” said Jennifer Straumins, president and chief operating officer.
Calumet has seven facilities in Louisiana, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Texas and Missouri.
