John Krull is not an old fogey. His viewpoints [Dec. 26 Forefront] are what America was made of before all the too-open-minded people, the too-liberal thinkers and the too-greedy people came to the forefront. Around 1970, when my father was in his mid 70s, his comment was, “The world’s going to hell in a hand basket.” Wow—he would turn over in his grave if he saw what was going on now.
