Indianapolis Animal Care & Control received 2,400 pounds of food to benefit shelter animals during a pet food drive at the Butler-University of Illinois-Chicago men’s basketball game on Feb. 21.
Indiana Members Foundation received over $19,000 from the Feb. 11, “Vegas Baby, Rat Pack Style” fundraising event hosted by Indiana Members Credit Union.
Grants
Sixteen Indianapolis organizations received $1.2 million in grants from LDI Ltd. as part of its 100th Anniversary Celebration Cultural Partnership Gift Program.
Nineteen organizations in nine central Indiana counties received grants totaling $100,000 from the Realtor Foundation.
Eskenazi Health Foundation received $95,000 from the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation to support a project that encourages early prenatal care and healthy outcomes for mothers and babies.
The American Red Cross received $50,000 from the Verizon Foundation to assist Hoosiers and others in the Midwest struck by tornadoes.
In Recognition
Scott Dorsey, Jim Irsay, Cathy Langham and the late Jerry Throgmartin were named Business Hall of Fame Laureates by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana.
James A. Knauer, of Kroger Gardis & Regas LLP, was named by Super Lawyers as one of Indiana’s top 50 lawyers.
