A Rockville, Md.-based company called Go Ape is building the zip line and an obstacle course at Eagle Creek Park on Indianapolis' far northwest side. Company official Dan D'Agostino told WTHR-TV Channel 13 the zip line will create "trails within the trees, versus trails within the ground."
Construction began last weekend on the course that will run up to 50 feet above a 5½-acre section of the park, which spans 5,300 acres.
D'Agostino says the zip line will open sometime this summer and will have about 40 obstacles. It will cost $55 for adults and $35 for children ages 10 to 18.
