As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowRepublic Airways Holdings Inc. on Wednesday reported higher revenue and a smaller loss in the first quarter compared to the same period a year ago.
The Indianapolis-based company suffered a loss of $7.1 million, or 15 cents per share, for the quarter ended March 31, compared to a loss of $22.4 million, or 46 cents per share, in the same period last year.
Revenue rose to $697.6 million for the quarter, an increase of 5.8 percent compared to $659.1 million a year ago.
