As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Crosspoint Solutions LLC, a manufacturer of electric auxiliary power units, announced Wednesday morning that it plans to add 75 jobs by 2016 as part of a $935,000 expansion.
The company said the investment will go toward leasing, renovating and equipping a 26,145-square-foot facility at 5511 W. 79th St. It already has begun hiring for manufacturing, sales and customer support positions.
Founded earlier this year, Crosspoint Solutions is a division of Cummins Crosspoint LLC and is an exclusive distributor for Columbus, Ind.-based Cummins Inc.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide Crosspoint Solutions up to $950,000 in performance-based tax credits based on the company’s job-creation plans. The city of Indianapolis will consider additional property-tax abatements.
