Indianapolis-based Synovia LLC and Acton, Mass.-based Everyday Solutions Inc. on Monday announced that the two companies are combining operations to form Synovia Solutions.

The merged company will be headquartered in Indianapolis in the Precedent Office Park on the city’s northeast side.

Both firms provide GPS-driven products to school districts and private transportation firms to help manage school bus fleets for about 220 districts.

Everyday Solutions has 25 employees and Synovia has 22. The merged company will have about $15 million in annual revenue. Jon King, CEO of Synovia, will remain chief executive of the merged company.

The company said it plans to hire up to eight software developers and customer support personnel in the next 30 days.

Synovia was founded in 2002.
