Pancake too thin

I know Rex Early is a loyal Republican but I was surprised of his [Sept. 1 column] support for Mourdock. While he may tell it as he sees it, he fails to understand it is a mighty thin pancake that does not have two sides. The my-way-or-the-highway attitude all too often causes one to hit the road. No one ever accused you of falling off the pumpkin wagon on the way into town but your support of Mourdock has you holding on for dear life. Even a communist under every rock like Mr. Jenner would have a hard time supporting a power-seeking demagogue the likes of Mourdock.
