Family and friends gathered at Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh this morning to see off 132 Hoosier soldiers. Members of the 138th Quartermaster Support Company are preparing to deploy to Iraq. The departure ceremony began today at 10 a.m., and was hosted by the 219th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade. The Brazil-based unit will be the first to wear the brigade’s newly-designed patch overseas.
