Hy-Pro Filtration plans a $10.5 million construction project for its new facility and will move to Anderson from Fishers next year, The Herald-Bulletin reported. Officials expect the company to have 107 workers making an average hourly wage of $21, plus benefits, at the site near the Nestle USA facility along Interstate 69.
Hy-Pro president Larry Hoeg said the company chose Anderson after considering other cities in Indiana and in Washington state.
The company makes filtration products for hydraulic, lubricating oil and diesel fuel that are used in heavy equipment.
The city of Anderson is providing the company $1.9 million in tax increment financing.
