Corporate Philanthropy
City Barbeque locations in Indianapolis has donated 5% of their sales from Oct. 17 to the Indiana University Breast Care and Research Center for breast cancer research.
The Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis has pledged to raise $200,000 for The Eliminate Project, which fights maternal and neonatal tetanus, by matching individual contributions up to $20,000 over the next five years.

Grants
Thirty-three not-for-profits and libraries serving Marion County received grants totaling more than $1.3 million from the Indianapolis Foundation and the Foundation’s Library Fund.
Assistance League of Indianapolis has received a total of $48,132 in grants from nine organizations this year for the Operation School Bell program and Assault Survivors Kits.
Riley Hospital for Children received a $298,381 donation from Circle K Midwest which included $30,000 from the BP Fueling Communities Initiative.•
