The gift, from entertainer and center director Michael Feinstein and partner Terrence Flannery, will support the Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative.
Feinstein founded the Great American Songbook Initiative in 2007 in order to preserve and promote the music from Broadway, Hollywood musicals and the Tin Pan Alley era of the early to mid-20th Century.
The program includes educational outreach, a high school vocal competition, an archive and a hall of fame.
