Fishers-based MSCB Group, which owns the two restaurants, announced the change Friday.
Indianapolis-based A Pots & Pans Production runs the current restaurants under contract with MSCB. But the two companies said this week those contracts are being terminated, and the existing eateries will close Dec. 31.
A Pots & Pans also owns the Scotty’s Brewhouse format, which has six locations in Indiana and recently signed letters of intent to open two more.
The Detour American Grilles will be operated by Carmel-based Detour Franchising, which already operates a restaurant at Keystone at the Crossing and another in Carmel.
MSCB co-owner Mark Maddox, a founder of the law firm Maddox Hargett & Caruso in Fishers, said his company terminated its contracts with A Pots & Pans because of “financial-management-related issued.” He did not elaborate.
