The announcement will be at 10:30 a.m. at the City Market in downtown Indianapolis.
Community and Wishard-Eskenazi Health said the announcement would place "Indianapolis in the best position for health care reform." They said local, state and national leaders would be on hand, but would not release further details.
Community is a not-for-profit that provides care at about 200 locations in and around Indianapolis, Anderson and Kokomo. Its Indianapolis hospitals are Community North, Community East and Community South.
Wishard-Eskenazi Health operates Wishard Hospital on the IUPUI campus, which serves many of the community's poorest residents. The county-owned system is building a replacement hospital adjacent to the existing one that is scheduled to open late this year.
