“The thoughts and prayers of Indianapolis are with the residents of our Sister City of Hyderabad following the deadly explosions that occurred earlier today," he said in a prepared statement." I was greatly looking forward to renewing our relationships in this wonderful city next week. However, the government, civic and business leaders we were scheduled to meet should entirely be focused on dealing with the tragedy at hand."
The trip, organized and funded by Develop Indy, a unit of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, was scheduled for Feb. 22 to March 2.
