The world view, as seen through liberal media, is that not just the Roman Catholic Church but Christianity in general needs to “become more relevant to an increasingly secular world.”
Christian claims of truth have not changed since Christ walked the earth. The Washington Post’s statement that “Catholics who seek a different answer …” is akin to shooting an arrow and drawing a bull’s-eye around its landing point; if you seek another answer that is more attractive, you miss the message.
