Subscribe NowAn Indiana House Committee will consider a bill tomorrow that would let schools knock 10 days off the required 180-day school year. To compensate, administrators would be required to add about 20 minutes to each school day. A parents’ group called Save Our Summers is lobbying for the bill, which would also require an 11-week summer vacation. A similar bill in the State Senate would cut the school year by 26 days, instituting a four-day week and lengthen days by more than an hour. Fox 59 News will have more at 10 p.m.
