Columbus Components Group, which operates in a former Arvin Industries plant, said it would begin closing down March 1 unless employees agree to a 5-percent pay cut, among other concessions, the newspaper said.
The plant stamps parts for automotive companies, including Cummins Inc.
The company has already laid off about 60 workers for one to two months in a cost-cutting move, but is struggling to make ends meet amid an economy hammered by extremely low auto sales.
The company sent employees a letter warning them of the possible closure.
