Becher Becher

Michael Becher, a longtime managing partner of Deloitte LLP’s Indianapolis office, has joined the Krieg DeVault LLP law firm as an adviser.

Becher retired from Deloitte in June 2012 after 36 years at the accounting firm, including 20 years as the local office’s leader.

At Krieg DeVault, he’ll focus on identifying opportunities and growing business within the firm’s practice areas, said Michael E. Williams, Krieg DeVault’s managing partner.

“Mike’s reputation and experience in the business community, professionalism and team-oriented approach to client service will be a seamless fit with our team,” Williams said in a prepared statement.

With 109 local attorneys, Krieg DeVault is the city’s fourth-largest law firm, according to the latest IBJ statistics.
