Subscribe NowThe inaugural event of the Women Like Us speaker series will feature Patricia Miller, co-founder of Fort Wayne-based Vera Bradley Designs Inc. and former Indiana secretary of commerce, among other notable participants.
Linda Rendleman, author and founder of the local Business Women Connect Inc. networking organization, and Sally Brown, president of the Indianapolis-based Ambassadors for Children not-for-profit, created the series, which will bring women together twice a year.
The first event is scheduled from 2:30 to 5 p.m. March 17 in the Reilly Room of the Atherton Union Building at Butler University.
Joining Miller as speakers are Chick Big Crow, founder of the SuAnne Big Crow Boys and Girls Club in North Dakota, and Pam Faerber, co-owner of Indiana-based Faerber’s Bee Windows Inc. and co-founder of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
Reservations must be made by March 13. Tickets are $200 for a table of eight or $30 for individuals and can be purchased at www.businesswomenconnect.com. Student tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 710-6469.
