House Bill 1039, authored by Matt Lehman, R-Berne, would create an 11-member commission to continue to endorse the current “Indiana Grown” initiative.
Indiana Grown is a statewide branding program that includes produce, field crops, dairy, meat, poultry products and horticulture
The bill unanimously passed both houses and now goes to Gov. Mike Pence for ratification.
