Indiana Grand Casino and Indiana Downs in Shelbyville announced Thursday that the once-separate gaming and racing facilities will now operate as one under the new Indiana Grand Racing & Casino name. The change was effective immediately.
Indiana Grand says the name change is part of a rebranding initiative to combine the horse track and casino into one property that aligns with parent company Centaur Gaming's goal of providing guests a fully integrated racing and gaming experience.
Although the Indiana Grand Racing & Casino name refers to the property as a whole, the track itself will be renamed to Indiana Grand Race Course in racing publications.
