The Indiana Pacers donated t-shirts and two tickets to their May 28 playoff game to encourage blood donations at the Indiana Blood Center.

Fundraising results
Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky raised more than $160,000 for its Women’s Health Fund at the annual Gathering of Goddesses and Gods.

Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center will receive $632,000 for research as a result of the Chuckstrong Tailgate Gala.

Bosma Enterprises raised over $108,000 at its Dining in the Dark event.

Grants
Horizon House received a $10,000 grant from Buckingham Foundation for its Job Readiness Training program.

Arts for Learning received a $25,000 grant from Young Audiences Inc. to support its Teaching Artist Development Initiative.

Alternatives Inc., Chaucie’s Place, Hamilton County Area Neighborhood Development, Hope Family Care Center Inc., St. Vincent de Paul Society, Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program, LINK Youth Advisory Council and Legacy Fund Community Scholarships shared more than $100,000 in grants and scholarships from Legacy Fund of Hamilton County.

Twenty-five not-for-profits serving Marion County were awarded $1.859 million in grants and awards by the Indianapolis Foundation and its Library Fund.

Stand for Children Leadership Center, Indiana received a $50,000 grant from The Indianapolis Foundation for general operations and to help fund its family engagement program.

In Recognition
Faegre Baker Daniels received four nationwide legal practice rankings and four Indiana state-level rankings in the 2014 edition of Chambers USA. Twenty of the firm’s attorneys in Indianapolis were honored with individual rankings. The firm was highly ranked in two categories on BTI Consulting Group’s BTI Brand Elite 2014 list.

Norman G. Tabler, Faegre Baker Daniels, has been selected to receive a 2014 Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing.

Indiana Members Credit Union received a Diamond Award from the Credit Union National Association Marketing & Business Development Council for its partnership with IPS school # 44.

Toby Stark, Chaucie’s Place, was chosen by the Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault as its Outstanding Advocate of the Year.

St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospitals in Indianapolis and Lafayette were awarded 2014 Quality Achievement Awards by the National Association of Long Term Hospitals.

Bill Browne Jr., Ratio Architects, was named recipient of the Interior Design Coalition of Indiana’s 2014 Legend IN Design award.

Phoenix Data Corp. was selected as one of central Indiana’s top workplaces based on employee feedback.

Donald C. Danielson, Jane Fortune, Robert Hesse, Allison Melangton and Will Shortz have been named 2014 Indiana Living Legends by the Indiana Historical Society.

Dr. Mary Lou Mayer received Franciscan St. Francis Health’s Healing Hands Award.

David Williams Russell, Harrison & Moberly LLP, was included in the 2014-2015 edition of Who’s Who in American Law.

Vine & Branch Inc. received an Outstanding Company Contribution Safety Award from the Tree Care Industry Association.

Jim Hallett, KAR Auction Services Inc., was selected as a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Award in the Midwest.

Joe Escamilla, Darlene Mezzetta, Francisco Garcia and Israel Fernando Herrera were honored for outstanding commitment and achievement at the 2014 Indiana Latino Expo.
