America Place Business Park officials did not disclose the new lease holder's name during Monday's announcement.
But America Place managing director Debbie Smith said it's an automotive supplier and Fortune 500 company. She said it's expected to bring more than 250 jobs to Jeffersonville and be fully operational by Sept. 1.
Smith told the News and Tribune the company will occupy a new 150,000-square-foot building in the River Ridge Commerce Center.
That site offers tenants convenient access to the east end portion of the Ohio River Bridges Project and the option of moving cargo by highway, rail or river.
