Fundraising results
Domestic violence organizations in Indiana received $25,000 as the result of an Indianapolis Colts Foundation raffle in September.

Grants
Conner Prairie received a grant of $15,000 from Fifth Third Bank to support the Follow the North Star program.

Adult and Child Mental Health Center Inc. received $20,000, Happy Hollow Camp received $10,000 and School of Wheels Corp. received $15,000 in grants from the AMC Cares Charitable Grant Fund.

Julian Center received $100,000 from the Indianapolis Colts Foundation.

Arts for Learning received grants of $50,000 from the Indianapolis Foundation, $40,000 from the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and $1,000 from the Unity Foundation of La Porte County to support arts programming in schools.

Researchers at Indiana University and the University of Notre Dame will receive nearly $1.29 million from Susan G. Komen.

Mark Linder, RE/MAX Select Realtors, earned admittance to the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s Million Dollar Guild.

Quinn Buckner and Catana Starks were presented the Major Taylor Award by Indiana Black Expo for their impact on the sports community.

Dr. Julie Trzil, IndyVet Emergency & Specialty Hospital, was named a board-certified diplomate with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

Janet Barnett, RE/MAX Realty One, was named the 2014 Indiana Realtor of the Year by the Indiana Association of Realtors.

Wayne Schmidt, Schmidt Associates, received the Gold Medal Award; Christopher Gerrity, Schmidt Associates, received the Young Architect Award and Jim Schellinger, CSO Architects, was named Government Relations Member of the Year by the Indiana Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Mitch Daniels, Purdue University president, received the Senator Orrin Hatch Award for Advancing Healthy Aging from the Alliance for Aging Research.

Lena Hackett, Community Solutions Inc., was honored for her work on re-entry by the Use What You’ve Got Prison Ministry.

Timothy Compton, Indianapolis Art Center, was named the 2015 Skip McKinney Faculty of the Year Fellow.

James A. Coles, Densborn Blachly LLP, was named the Best Lawyers 2015 Trademark Law Lawyer of the Year in Indianapolis.•
