Shipshewana-based KZRV announced Monday it would build and equip a new lamination facility in the LaGrange County town and possibly add up to 125 workers, including welders and assembly employees, before the end of 2017.
The subsidiary of Elkhart-based Thor Industries says it expects to have the new facility fully operational by next summer in the town about 30 miles east of South Bend. KZRV now has more than 360 full-time Indiana workers.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says it offered KZRV about $1.25 million in conditional tax credits and $21,600 in training grants based on its hiring plans.
