Police say a body found in Kentucky in 2007 was incorrectly identified as Scott Michael Morris, an Indianapolis teenager who disappeared in 1978. Kentucky police say a detective got verbal confirmation in 2007 that the body was identified as Morris, and that information was released to the media. The same detective has received written confirmation that the remains didn’t belong to Morris.
