  1. Who is surprised here? This was the lamest attempt at deflecting liability ever. Why hasn’t Joey resigned. He is a pathetic individual in so many ways.

  2. It is unfortunate that the issue was not addressed immediately as it should have been with the permanent dimissal of Cook. This was poorly handled and makes you wonder what the actual relationship is between Cook and Mayor Hogsett which allowed Cook to return time and again and be shielded by the mayor.

  3. What exactly are the accusations? I have read several articles from the IBJ and have yet to see anything beyond a conclusory description of sexual harassment. Since the city is self insured and the mayor has apologized, which is at a minimum a tacit admission on some level, i presume there will be lawsuits, payouts and the eventual sweeping under the rug here…there will be some report issued which says there were failures along the way….a proposed policy change…and we will be done…

    1. Wow – what a pathetic little weasel he is. And to think, with that deficient character and stunningly inept personal demeanor he was a successful government bureaucrat. Doesn’t speak too highly of the level of capability in the public sector…
