As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based CloudOne Corp. has landed $4.5 million in venture capital, the company announced Thursday.
The funding round was led by Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Plymouth Ventures. New York-based HKS Capital Advisors and locally based Elevate Ventures also are expected to contribute through the Indiana 21st Century Research & Technology Fund.
CloudOne sets up customers with private cloud networks that provide software applications. Its clients include Cummins Inc., Panasonic and McDonald’s.
The fast-growing company has attracted almost $12 million in venture capital since its founding in 2009, including more than $7 million this year.
The last round of funding, $2.8 million, came from San Diego-based Bootstrap Venture Funds in February.
CloudOne acquired the North American sales and marketing operations of Nantes, France-based technology engineering firm Sodius Corp. in July.
