Corporate Philanthropy
Kroger Central Division delivered shoes and socks to about 450 Indianapolis Public School No. 46 students and Pacers Sports & Entertainment donated a new toy to every student at the school. The program is led by the Assistance League of Indianapolis through its program “Shoes: A Division of Operation School Bell.”

The Julian Center received $3,659.54 donated between Aug. 17th and Nov. 8th by customers and associates in Kroger stores.
Grants
Sixteen not-for-profit organizations that address diverse needs within Marion County received grants totaling $829,722 from The Indianapolis Foundation.
Indiana Historical Society received a grant of $3.43 million from Lilly Endowment to fund the creation of the Indiana Heritage Support Program which will provide grants to local historical organizations.

Heather Vaught, Indiana Blood Center, was named a Top Five finalist in the American Society for Clinical Pathology’s inaugural 40 Under 40 program.•
