Police are investigating the murder of a Lawrence woman in the 4300 block of Clinton Street. The victim has been identified as Amenda Yang, 43. Yang’s children discovered her body yesterday afternoon when they arrived home from school. Police say she died of blunt force trauma to the head. They also say they’ve interviewed and released Yang’s estranged husband. An investigation is ongoing.
