The state fair said in a news release that it will hold a job fair May 28 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann is to attend and interview some of the candidates.
State officials say the Indiana State Fair hires about 1,400 seasonal employees every year. More than half of the fair's 218 year-round employees started out as seasonal or summer workers.
Possible positions include ticket sellers, gate supervisors, parking attendants, and maintenance and security workers.
