An overnight police chase ended in a serious crash that sent two people to the hospital. The driver of a gray Nissan took off after police tried to pull him over for having his headlights off at 56th and Illinois streets. The driver made it to 38th Street before crashing into a black Chrysler driven by a woman. Officers say the driver of the fleeing car had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. The woman is in serious condition with a broken leg and hip, and a bruised lung. Fox 59 will have more at 10 p.m.
