The grocery store chain has sponsored Marsh Symphony on the Prairie every year since its inception in 1982. This year’s season, again held on the grounds of Conner Prairie Interactive History Park, will include 28 concerts over 12 weekends.
ISO officials declined to disclose the value of the new three-year sponsorship deal, covering the 2016 through 2018 seasons.
The 2014 season presented 26 concerts over 11 weekends, with total attendance of 108,539.
The Marsh sponsorship “has turned a humble summer concert series into a community-wide tradition, and most importantly, allows us to make the series an accessible entertainment option for hundreds of thousands of patrons every year,” said Gary Ginstling, CEO of the ISO, in a prepared release.
