Allegiant, a low-cost provider that started flying from the Indianapolis last year, will start offering the year-round flights between Indianapolis International Airport and Jacksonville International Airport on June 2.
The Jacksonville flight will bring the number of nonstop flight destinations at Indianapolis International Airport to 45.
The one-way fares will be as low as $48, the airline said. The flights will operate twice weekly.
Allegiant also offers nonstop service from Indianapolis to Las Vegas; New Orleans; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; and four other Florida spots: Fort Lauderdale, Orlando/Sanford, Punta Gorda/Fort Myers and St. Pete-Clearwater.
