I write to express thanks for Mickey Maurer’s column “Returning abortion to the back alleys” [April 11 IBJ]. I was intensely grateful for the commentary, the courage it demonstrated, and the scope of its recall.
When everyone in the press is silent on the actions our Legislature and governor are imposing on the citizenry, I feel as though I am living in some sort of weird, intolerant North American theocracy that turns a blind eye to human rights and public health. Keep writing!
