Homeowners kill alleged intruder
Indianapolis homeowners shot an alleged intruder to death Tuesday morning on the city's east side. The incident happened about 6 a.m. in the 700 block of South Bosart Avenue, near South Emerson and English avenues. Police say a man, a woman and their 11-year-old daughter were in the home. Police say the dead man was in his 40s, was unarmed and suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
