The Indianapolis office of New York-based PricewaterhouseCoopers is adding 20 consultants following the accounting firm’s
purchase of a portion of McLean, Va.-based BearingPoint Inc.

PwC in June completed its acquisition of a substantial
piece of BearingPoint’s North American commercial services business, including its financial services segment, for $25
million.

PwC altogether has gained 800 BearingPoint employees who have technology, business and consulting expertise
across multiple industries, the accounting firm said.

With 45 certified public accountants, the Indianapolis office
of PwC is the eighth-largest accounting firm in the city, according to the most recent IBJ list of largest local
firms.

BearingPoint filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in February. The company once had an office
in Indianapolis but scaled back to a virtual presence about five years ago.
