Southwest Conservation Club to benefit from Bees & Brew (21+) on June 9 and on June 14 at 7 p.m.at Southwest Conservation Club, 5703 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne. Cost: $35 per person. Ticket includes DIY beeswax candle, sample of raw honey, 2 glasses of honey wine or beer on the house, light hors d’oeuvres, tour of the apiary, and bee presentation. Assistance League of Indianapolis has been awarded a $5,000 grant from Sertoma Club of Broad Ripple. Belden awarded a $5,000 grant and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana awarded a $5,000 grant to support the Operation School Bell to provide new clothing, shoes and supplies to students living in poverty.•
