As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowThis is so common sense [“Survey says Hoosiers favor cold beer, Sunday alcohol sales,” IBJ.com, June 5]. There’s no sense in even creating polls or debating it.
Of course, grown adults would like to have access to beer and wine on Sundays, just like every other state in the union. How about this: If the general public pledged to boycott liquor stores until they sat down like adults and hammered out a compromise with their competitors, perhaps they would actually get the message and listen to the consumer.
I can’t think of any other way to make it happen, sadly, because right now, they don’t care.
