Those workers will be back on the job as a Columbia City plant resumes production to fill a six-month contract making water pumps for General Motors Corp.
United Auto Workers Local 2242 president Phil Spradling said the union gave up insurance coverage and accepted pay cuts after negotiations with company officials.
The company laid off more than 600 workers this spring as it closed plants in Fort Wayne and Columbia City. The company blamed the closures on the loss of financial support from GM.
Fewer than half of those laid off from the Columbia City foundry will be returning to work.
