The Midwest RV Super Show and Rally at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen has long been a major event for dealers and RV makers in an area considered the manufacturing center of the industry.
Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council director Mark Bowersox said the group is optimistic that the RV market is starting to recover and that the show might be rescheduled.
Elkhart County Visitors Bureau Director Diana Lawson told The Elkhart Truth newspaper that it might be best to not have the show this year rather than risk it having few dealers and low attendance.
Elkhart County had a 17.5-percent unemployment rate in May following thousands of RV industry layoffs.
