that the company will close its plant by the end of October.
Roughly 130 workers will lose their jobs as a result
of the closure, Duffy said in its July 27 filing. The first layoffs will begin on Sept. 21.
Duffy was founded in October
1953 by Edwin McDuffee and makes metal stampings for the automotive industry as well as other products. At its peak 10 years
ago, the company employed more than 400 people and was one of the four largest manufacturers in Delaware County.
