St. Vincent to open clinic inside Gleaners Food Bank

St. Vincent is teaming up with Indiana’s largest food bank to help combat food insecurity and offer access to health care.

The Indianapolis-based health system said Nov. 14 it is setting up a small clinic inside the Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, at 3737 Waldemere Ave., just southeast of Indianapolis International Airport. The clinic will offer treatments for minor injuries and illnesses that do not require a visit to the emergency room, such as flu and fevers, minor burns, rashes, sprains, cuts and infections.

The clinic will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and 2-7 p.m. on Thursdays.•
