The single-story, 35,000-square-foot building is on 17 acres on the southwest corner of 61st Street and Lake Park Avenue, south of the St. Mary Medical Center, according to trade publication REJournals.
The building was constructed in 1989 as Charter Hospital, a mental-health facility. In 2004, it was reconfigured as Hind General Hospital. It has been vacant since 2014, the journal said.•
