Indy Tire & Auto Service takes on new name

Indianapolis-based Indy Tire & Auto Service has a new name: Best-One of Indy.

The change, which took effect March 1, reflects the company’s 32-year association with Best-One, a network of more than 250 independent tire and auto service providers in 26 states.

Best-One Indy said only its name is changing—its ownership, management, services and products will remain the same.

Best-One Indy has nine central Indiana locations: five in Indianapolis and one each in Avon, Carmel, Fishers and Kokomo. The company, whose original name was Indy Truck Tire Center, was established in1986 by Dennis Dickson, Paul Zurcher and Ray Monteith.
