State Auditor
Tim Berry and Office of Management and Budget Director Ryan Kitchell discussed the planned rollout of the system during a
news conference today. They say the system has been years in the works and will centralize the way spending from 70 state
agencies is handled and tracked.
Berry and Kitchell say the system will streamline the way the state’s finances
are handled and should help prevent fraud.
More than 3,000 state employees have been trained on how to use the
new system.
