Kyle Inskeep, a reporter with WXIN-TV Channel 59 and WTTV-TV Channel 4 for the past three years, is leaving the station for a new job, he said on his Facebook page Friday.
“After three wonderful years, today was my last day at FOX59 News/CBS4 Indy,” he posted. “It's bittersweet to leave the best news team in central Indiana, but change is always good.”
Inskeep, a Butler University graduate who spent two years at WTWO-TV Channel 2 in Terre Haute before joining Fox59, also spent a year working for NBC News in Washington, D.C., after being selected as the 2012 Tim Russert Fellow.
Inskeep primarily worked for the morning teams at Fox59 and CBS4. He did not say why he was leaving the stations.
“I can't say where I'm headed to just yet, but I'm not going too far,” he posted. “Hopefully I can share more details about my new job/city in the coming days.”
