Lake City, part of Warsaw-based Lakeland Financial Corp., will open an office this fall at 101 W. Ohio St. The bank’s signature will go at the top of the tower’s east and west sides.
This will be Lake City’s sixth Indianapolis-area branch and 50th overall. The company’s first local branch, at 96th and Meridian streets, opened in 2011. It later added a second Indianapolis office, in Clearwater Crossing at 3805 E. 82nd St., as well as one each in Carmel, Fishers and Greenwood.
Meanwhile, Merrillville-based Centier Bank has opened a branch at 11684 Allisonville Road in Fishers. The 2,400-square-foot office had a ribbon-cutting July 19.
Branch manager is Laura Quist.
Centier now has six Indianapolis-area locations and 60 overall.
Meanwhile, First Financial Bank, part of Cincinnati-based First Financial Bancorp, is planning a branch at 50 Branigan Road in Franklin, just west of U.S. 31. It is expected to open in 2019.
First Financial has more than 150 offices, including 11 in the Indianapolis area.•
The bank enlarged its footprint in May when it completed its $1 billion acquisition of Greensburg-based MainSource Financial Group.
